Saturday May 2 was a big day for us. The cabin passed the second inspection (Rough in)...way to go "contractor Terry".  This is huge because the next week Terry was able to start installing sheetrock.  In the weeks ahead the cabin will start taking its final form and become a home.   We are  hoping to move in by the end of June or first of July.   More pictures to come as the ceilings and walls are done.

Railing is up for the stairs, back deck, and in the loft.....boy it is SWEET!!

Bead board going up all throughout the cabin.  Mostly it will be the ceiling in all the rooms.

During her visit, Bertie and my mom  came and saw the cabin.    Would you believe these two sisters, 90 and 92 climbed the stairs to see the loft.   The "Bethurem" family all once lived in a cabin, so it was a treat to see ours.

Sheetrock going up as well.   Walls up in the basement and 90% first floor.  Terry is a working machine
